The Watershed Project is turning 20 this year, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to celebrate our two decades of growth and success with our community of volunteers, alumni, staff, neighbors, partners, and everyone who has made our mission of watershed protection and education possible.
While anniversaries are often a time to reflect, we hope to also use this year as a reaffirmation of our commitment to a sustainable future. We are celebrating our 20th Anniversary as a Call to Action, and hope you can join us!
Throughout 2017, we will have monthly 20th Anniversary events that seek to energize and connect fellow environmental stewards and continue to build a sustainable future in the Bay Area. We hope this anniversary will bring more opportunities for engagement and action for the environment. 2017 is not only our anniversary year, but comes at a pivotal time for climate action, and we are proud to be a part of a dedicated climate movement that, despite uncertainties, is building a resilient Bay Area.
Join us this year for fun events and activities such as:
- Happy Hours at local bars and restaurants
- Bike Tour of the Richmond Greenway
- Our annual Bubbles & Bivalves Gala
- Oyster Picnic on Point Pinole
