The County Watershed Program and the Contra Costa Clean Water Program are partnering with The Watershed Project to offer the Community Watershed Stewardship Grants. Grants will be awarded to watershed groups and organizations that help protect and care for the watersheds of Contra Costa County.
We are currently accepting applications for the 2013 grant cycle.
Who Can Apply?
Formal and informal groups are eligible; non-profit status or relationship with a fiscal sponsor is required.
Projects Eligible for Funding
Typical Projects include, but are not limited to:
– Pollution Prevention Projects
– Trash Mitigation & Removal
– Watershed Education
– Watershed Group Coordination
– Low-Impact Design Projects
The Community Watershed Stewardship grants are available for projects across Contra Costa County!
Eighty percent of the funds will be allocated to projects that demonstrate a benefit to the unincorporated regions of the County and 20% to projects in the Incorporated Cities of Contra Costa County.
